Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Thursday, March 31st, 2016

Chamberlain has been on the wrong side of some ugly scores all season, losing by 10, 12, 15 or more runs. Thursday night, the Chiefs tasted victory for the first time this season, ending an 18-game losing streak as they beat Jefferson 4-2. Sherwin Johnson pitched a complete game to earn the win, and John Kiss had two hits for the Chiefs (1-18), who scored two in the top of the third to break a 2-2 tie.

Bartow came up with a run in the bottom of the eighth as it walked off on Mulberry 5-4 in a non-district game to earn its third win in a row.

Cam Diaz went 2-for-3 with a run and RBI as Bishop McLaughlin edged Lexington Catholic 4-3 to snap a two-game skid. Carson Ragsdale got the win.

East Lake extended its winning streak to nine games as it beat Dunedin 5-0 in a non-district matchup.
