Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Thursday, April 7th, 2016

Northside Christian built a five-run lead by third inning en route to an 11-4 win over Out-of-Door Academy in a battle for the top spot in 3A-5. The Mustangs (18-5), who have won four in a row, are at the top at 14-2. The Thunder (17-4, 13-2) are in second place. Hunter Flack was the winning pitcher.

In another 3A-5 game, Shorecrest Prep scored seven runs over two innings en route to a 9-3 win over Bradenton Christian. Cai Baralt earned the win for the Chargers (7-7, 5-6).

IMG Academy Black extended its winning streak to three games by breaking open a one-run game with four runs in the to beat Bartow 5-0. Ian McEachern picked up the win as the Ascenders (12-6) allowed one hit.
