Alonso won its sixth in a row as it beat Palm Harbor University 3-1 behind the solid pitching of Ryan Fernandez to win the 9A-8 title Thursday.

Boca Ciega picked up its second consecutive win following a four-game skid as it edged Dunedin 3-2 for the 6A-9 championship.

Santa Fe Catholic nipped All Saints Academy 5-4 to advance to tonight’s 3A-4 championship against Bishop McLaughlin.
