All Saints Academy survived a battle with Carrollwood Day in a 3A-4 quarterfinal Monday, scoring in the top of the 11th and holding on to pull off the upset 10-9. The seventh-seeded Saints (7-16) move on to a semifinal Thursday against the winner of today’s quarterfinal between Cambridge Christian/Santa Fe Catholic.
Jacob Kader earned the win as Tenoroc scored twice in the bottom of the sixth to go-ahead and hold on to beat Mulberry 5-3 in a 5A-10 play-in game. The fourth-seeded Titans (13-12) will play top-seeded McKeel Academy in a semifinal today.
