The Sunlake Seahawks edged the Northeast Vikings 3-2 in a battle for the top spot in 7A-10 on Friday. The Seahawks won their second in a row and improved to 8-5, 4-1 while the Vikings dropped to 14-5, 3-2.

In another 7A-10 game, Osceola nipped Mitchell 1-0 to improve to 15-5, 3-1 for second place while the Mustangs fell to 11-4, 2-2 for fifth place.

Wharton won consecutive games for the first time since starting the season 4-0 as it defeated Bloomingdale 7-6 in a non-district matchup. The Wildcats rolled to 10-8 while the Bulls fell to 8-10.
