Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Monday, March 14th, 2016

Freedom rallied for four runs in the top of the ninth inning to take the lead and hold off a Plant City rally in the bottom of the inning to win 9-6 on Monday in the Saladino Tournament. The Raiders (8-4) opened with a 4-0 lead in the first, but the Patriots (6-6) came back for two in the third and three in the fifth to take a 5-4 lead. Plant City tied it up with a run in the bottom of sixth to send the game to extras.

Luis Andajar, Logan Eade and Jackson Alvord each had two hits for Brooks DeBartolo in its 3-1 win over Newsome in another Saladino Tournament game. The Phoenix won their second in a row to improve to 5-7.

Manny Martinez earned the win as Riverview rallied to edge Gaither 2-1 in the Saladino Tournament. Down 1-0, the Sharks came back for two runs in the bottom of the sixth to win their second in a row after a three-game losing streak to improve to 7-6.
