Joseph Quintal earned the win as IMG Academy Blue snapped a four-game losing streak and upset Countryside 4-2 on Saturday. The Ascenders improved to 2-5 while the Cougars fell to 6-1.
Greyson Bulter went 3-for-3 to lead Sickles to a 6-2 win over East Bay for its second consecutive win. Gabe Montagna threw three innings and allowed one run to earn the win. Nikolas Dague went 2-for-3 with a triple, three RBIs and a run, and Matthew Lewis added two hits.
Alonso won its fourth consecutive game after starting the season 0-3 as it beat Robinson 6-1.
